This is because like many Ethnic groups around the world, in areas where Europeans set up colonies were at some points name incorrectly. This is slowly being corrected to reflect the People's right to self-determination. Just like Turkey has called for the international community to now write "Turkiye" the Wixaritari are re-defining themselves using the term they've always had for themselves.

It's been well over a year now since we entered the pandemic and restrictions are every where! By now most of us are used to wearing a mask and N95 masks, while providing ease of mind, are just meh-looking. You've definitely seen people making, selling and promoting cloth masks that are easier on the eye. You've made them yourself or know someone who makes them for you and the family.

I want to share my own mask patter, hoping that you like it and it it you do, you can share it on your social media using the hashtag #MexiCrafter . I would love to see what kind of patterns/designs are the most popular. The file is on SVG for cut-machines and PNG format is you prefer to print and cut by hand. 

The pattern allows you to leave a BIG, easy to reach pocket for disposable filters. If you prefer to have the gap closed and opt to wear a common disposanble mask underneat , you may do that as well.


Although it's pretty straighforward, you can take a look at our youtube walkthrough on how I make these. They work wonderful withraw cloth and gabardine fabric.

2021 is coming fast and I'm sure most of us can't wait! We're lucky enough to be able to plan ahead for next year and are really looking forward to restocking our supplies so that we may continue to sew, print, make and ship more items to you. I recently decided to start focusing on my web business more seriously. So far it's been fun side project. No, several fun side projects with various degrees of success. When it comes to e-business and online shopping, the market's already filled with thousands of print on demand sites such as Zazzle and RedBubble and their corresponding sellers/artists. Everywhere you look, someone's already set shop in. 

Despite this apparent over-crowding, I believe there is still business to be made. Custom items can only be made at a certain rate after all. I am hoping to be able to bring themall together under "one roof" here at MexiCrafter. My newest venture is on demand house and office items at Society6. I've seen that it's not a fountain of income but It cetainly allows for a bit of extra revenue. Check out the link on this post and let me know what you guys think.
